Best 2 in 1 Prams

With its premium fabrics, spacious shopping basket and puncture-proof tyres this elegant pram is an absolute pleasure to move. It can be used from birth because of the carrycot that lies flat. It also works with a car safety seat.

It takes a bit of time to get used to but it's easy once master the one-hand fold. It's also simple to hoick off and on buses and trains.

1. Cybex Gazelle

The Cybex Gazelle is a highly adjustable stroller that is able to be adjusted to the needs of your family. It offers more than 20 configurations that allow you to use it in single or twin mode right from birth. The car seat adaptors are integrated into the frame so there is no requirement to purchase a separate car seat for babies which makes it easy to transform it from a mono pushchair to a twin stroller. It is also equipped with a large shopping basket, so you can easily carry all the things you need for both kids.

The seats are comfortable and can be reclined to almost flat. This lets your child nap comfortably. The canopy comes with two height settings and plenty of space for your child's hood. It is also compact and lightweight which makes it easy for you to maneuver through tight spaces like hallways. The wheels are durable and puncture-proof, and the handlebar can be adjusted to various heights so you can drive comfortably whether you're short or tall.

There's a wide selection of accessories available for the Gazelle, including rain covers and cup holders, a snack tray and footmuff. The stroller itself comes in four gorgeous fabrics that match the sloping curves of the frame and taupe-tinted aluminum chassis. The sleek elegant design is perfect for any parent.

One of the best things about the Gazelle is its ease of use. The instructions are clearly displayed in a booklet at the bottom of the basket. Car seat adaptors are color-coded to make it easier for you to understand. It also comes with a wide variety of seating configurations which makes it suitable for families from the age of birth to preschool. It can be used as twin stroller by buying a second unit separately. It's compatible with a variety of Cybex infant car seats. The only issue is the cost but you're paying for quality and versatility.

2. Maclaren Techno

The Maclaren Techno is a compact and comfortable stroller for parents. It comes with a fully-reclining seat, a leg rest that extends and a head hugger for infants to ensure they are comfortable during longer journeys. A fully-coverage sun visor and hood that covers the entire area will protect your child from the elements. The parent tray with cup holders and storage compartments is a great place to store essentials. Safety features include the linked foot-operated breaks and locking swivel wheels.

The Techno's handlebars are height-adjustable for taller parents and have a soft, satin finish that feels great against the skin. The chassis is light, compact and easy to carry and store. This is especially helpful when you travel by public transportation or putting it in your car's boot. Its streamlined profile also makes it easier to push on uneven surfaces, and the rear-facing seat and reversible footrest make it easier to access the front door of the shops quickly.

Another wonderful feature of the Maclaren is its speedy and easy fold. It is a little slower than normal however, it only requires one hand to open and close. When closed, it's a small pram that can easily fit into tight spaces.

This model is not recommended for infants. However it is suitable for children 3 months or older. You can buy one of Maclaren’s lighter umbrella strollers if you need a pram at that stage. It's an excellent option for toddlers and older babies because it's so comfy that they'll love to sleep in their seat at home or on the go!

This 2-in-1 pram offers the perfect combination of design and function. Its sleek design is stylish and its top-quality materials will stand up to everyday use as well. It's also adaptable, so you can add a car seat for infants or carrycot to it when your baby is old enough. A stroller with two wheels like this one will allow you to adjust to your unpredictable day.

3. M&P Pramette

The M&P Pramette is a perfect pram/pushchair combo for families with two children or parents who are first-time parents. It comes with a carrycot that's approved for sleep at night and easily converts into a double pushchair when the time is appropriate. It's not the most affordable option but its gorgeous design and features make it well worth the money.

Claire found the pram easy to maneuver on various terrain and in confined spaces such as narrow aisles in shops. The swivel wheel helped her guide the pram with precision. The compact size of the folding makes it easy for you to keep at home. The large air-filled tires provide an easy ride, and can also be used on off-road surfaces. The hood can be easily adjusted to the baby's foot for sun protection or for the comfort of a cosy snooze.

The reversible option is another excellent feature that allows you to switch the direction that the child's face is. The reclining seat gives both back and head support, so your child can rest comfortably in their carrycot or seat. Claire liked the large shopping basket that is accessible from the seat or carrycot in any position. It can hold the entire nappies pack as well as a change bag.

Finally, the Xplory is a top pram from Stokke and is suitable from birth. It comes with an infant pushchair, a chassis and a carrycot that can be set in a flat position. But, other accessories like the rain cover must be purchased separately. It's an excellent choice for those who love the look of a modern Scandinavian-designed pram with a unique and functional frame that lets you interact closely with your baby.

This adorable doll pram from Mamas & Papas is perfect to help develop role-playing skills and to stimulate imagination. Its realistic features include a rain hood that can be removed as well as a handy under-seat shopping basket, and a co-ordinated changing bag. It's perfect for cruising around the house or going for an excursion to the park! This is a wonderful addition to any child's collection, and could also be the perfect birthday or Christmas present.

4.  2in1 travel system Pushchairs & Prams  is a brand that's known for its cool and practical products and the Shine stroller is no different. It's among the lightest strollers on the market, and feels solid and robust in your hands despite its simple design. It's also extremely versatile, with the ability to be used right from birth thanks to the accessories that come with it which transform it into a bassinet, Newborn Inlay, or Newborn Nest, as well as a Maxi Cosi car seat adapter (accessories sold separately).

In contrast to other lightweight strollers that are lighter, the Shine does not disappoint in terms of cargo storage, either. Its 22-pound capacity allows you to carry everything you require for a day of travel without feeling like you have to leave everything behind.

The wheels are also easy to attach to the frame. They simply clip on from the box. If you buy the bassinet that comes with it, it clicks on easily and comes with carry handles similar to those of the Moses basket. The pram folds down to a compact and small size, which means it can fit in even the tiniest of cars.

Thule's air purifier canopy is a standout also, as it has an integrated fan that filters the air you breathe to eliminate bacteria, viruses, pollen, and other nasty contaminants. The company claims it can remove 150l per minute of air and can be connected to an app that displays the local air quality.

The only issue is the price. Even though it is less than some other 2 in 1 prams, it still costs more than PS1,000 for the complete kit. It's even more difficult to accept when there are less expensive alternatives, such as the Thule spring that is smaller and lighter.

The durability of Thule's strollers is legendary and I have seen them put to the test at the Thule Hillerstop headquarters in Sweden. They drop prams from high places and then crash them down slopes and ride them across bumpy tracks in the snow to test their quality and endurance. They certainly come out looking great!
